Dorene Conner

Dorene Conner, 87, of Prentice, WI, passed away peacefully at Tomahawk Health Services on January 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 28, 1935, to Edgar and Adeline (Woolever) Andrus in Park Falls, WI.

She met and married Lyle Conner Sr. and they raised 7 children together - they celebrated 69 years of marriage. She was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Prentice, WI. She owned an upholstery business in Prentice for 10 years. Dorene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making cards.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Jim) Kucaba, Lyle (Lynn) Conner Jr., Dennis (Kris) Conner, Robert (Virginia) Conner, Paul (Donna) Conner, Rebecca (Neil) Holm; 29 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Conner; son, Fred Conner Sr.; her grandson; Nicodemus Conner; granddaughter, Courtney Cook; great-granddaughter, Helena Conner; parents; brother; Edar Andrus; sister, Nancy Sura; and daughter-in-law, Leanne Conner.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4594 US-8, Prentice, WI 54556. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. and continue until the start of service. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
