Dorothea M. Roppuld, age 63, of Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Golden Living Center-Riverview in Tomahawk. She was born September 16, 1946 in Milwaukee to Mary and the late Joseph Price. She graduated from St. Michael's grade school and West Division High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree and a master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. Dorothea worked as a Supervisory budget analyst at Wisconsin Bell for nearly thirty years. She was the proud step-mother of Todd, and was devoted to him, especially during his teenage years and loved him dearly. She had a lifelong interest in the Canadian North Country and the Eskimo culture, and in her younger years made several trips to Churchill and Resolute Bay in the extreme northern provinces of Canada. She and her husband Paul were married for thirty three years and were devoted to each other beyond all else. She also served as an Officer in the United States Army, receiving numerous awards and decorations. Survivors include: Mother Mary Price Milwaukee Husband Paul Roppuld Tomahawk Son Todd (Paula) Roppuld Muskego Sister Donna Johnson Milwaukee 2 Brothers Richard Price Maui, Hawaii Vincent McNeil New Orleans, Louisiana A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothea Roppuld will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 10, 2010 from St. Augustine Church in Harrison. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in the Town of Harrison.
