Dorothy Boykins

Dorothy "Dot" Boykins, age 84, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Dot was born March 21, 1925 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Frank and Alfa (Main) Luse. She married Edward Boykins on June 19, 1946 in Harrison; he passed away in 2002. Dorothy was a cook at Rhinelander Middle School for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk, and a former member of the VFW Auxiliary and TOPS. She enjoyed reading and flower gardening. Survivors include: Daughter Sandy (Leroy) Albright Wausau Son Son Steve (Karen) Boykins Larsen 7 grandchildren Angela, Zachery & Jacob Boykins Chris (Cheri) and Scott DeNissen Cynthia & Theodore Albright Dot is further survived by 3 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy "Dot" Boykins will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2009 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
