Dorothy Davidson

Dorothy M. Davidson, age 95, a longtime Tripoli resident, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Andover, Minnesota. Dorothy was born November 10, 1915 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Alfred and Minnie (Edmonds) Longtin. She married William A. Davidson, he passed away February 7, 1989. Dorothy was a homemaker, she also enjoyed gardening and watching wildlife. Survivors include: Daughter, Kathleen (Donald) Ruplinger Andover, MN Two Sisters, Jeannette Gregory Tomahawk Patricia (Joseph) Mulcahy California She is further survived by a Grandson, Jason (Jessica) Ruplinger of Farmington, MN and 2 great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Liam Ruplinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, and four sisters. A Memorial Service for Dorothy Davidson will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Tripoli Log Church. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
