Dorothy M. Feind

Dorothy M. Feind, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Golden Living - Riverview Nursing Home under the care of AsceraCare Hospice. Dorothy was born on December 29, 1926 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to John & Julia Weiter. After her mother passed away, when Dorothy was 6 years old, she went to Guardian Angels Boarding School for 8 years in Oneida, Wisconsin. She went to St. Mary's Academy in Milwaukee for high school. In 1946, Dorothy moved to Tomahawk. She married Thor Feind on June 25, 1947 at the St. Mary Catholic Church, in Tomahawk; He preceded her in death in 2012. She worked at the Nick & Sons Casket Factory and for the U.S. Postal Service. She retired from the Post Office in June 1986 after 24½ years. She was a devoted and longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include: 2 Daughters Sis (Dave) Jorgensen of Tomahawk Julie (Arnie) Gasper of Gleason Dorothy is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and her 9th great grandchild on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thor; 2 Sons, Mark and John; 2 Brothers; her grandson, Jeff Jorgensen; and sister of her heart, Eulene Jorgensen. The Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Feind will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home from 4:00PM until the time of vigil service at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 10:00AM until the time of Mass at 11:00AM. Dorothy's final resting place will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk.
