Dorothy L. Hanse, age 90, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Golden Living-Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk.
Dorothy was born on August 29, 1924 in Barrett, Minnesota to the late Walter and Bertha Fieblekorn. Dorothy was united in marriage on August 29, 1945 to Orville L. Hanse in Hoffman, Minnesota. The couple has lived in Waukesha, Elgin and Geneva, Illinois, Minnesota, and Tomahawk. Dorothy has had many jobs, including, carpentry, farming, running mobile home parks, mink ranching, and she and Orville owned and operated a truck stop at the corner of Highways 51 and 8 in Tomahawk. She also worked at Johnson Level Factory and Lectromill in Hazelhurst. She enjoyed spending winters in Arizona.

Dorothy is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda, Son, Larry, 3 Brothers, and 4 Sisters.
Funeral services for Dorothy L. Hanse will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the Spring. The family will receive friends at St. Paul Lutheran Church Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
