Dorothy "Dotty" LaNou, age 85, 204 Voerman St., Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk.
Dotty was born February 10, 1926 in Deerbrook, the daughter of Erwin and Helen (Petrzelka) Bentley. She married Robert "Bob" J. LaNou on February 20, 1944 in Idaho. She and Bob owned and operated Uptown Restaurant, and later LaNou's Restaurant, both in Tomahawk. She was also formerly employed at Sears in Tomahawk for 18 years. Dotty was a supporter of the Tomahawk High School wrestling program, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Dotty is further survived by eight grandchildren, Nicole DeBruler, Troy LaNou, Robert LaNou, Jenna Uhrich, Shannon LaNou, Jed Baus, Beth Baus, Gretchen Baus, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Dotty LaNou will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Visitation will continue at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
