Dorothy Rose Wickman, age 99, a lifelong Tomahawk resident, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Golden Living-Riverview Nursing Home in Tomahawk.
Dorothy was born on November 12, 1915 in Tomahawk the daughter of Frank and Rose (Shimanski) Petta. She married William G. Wickman, Sr. on September 11, 1934 in Harrison, he died in 1984. She and her husband owned and operated Bill's Bar on the Spirit Flowage for many years. She enjoyed gardening and, especially taking care of her family. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Sister, Mary Rhewinkle Merrill
3 Grandchildren, Rosanne Bethel, Bill Wickman, III, and Randy Wickman.
Dorothy is further survived by 4 Great grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Phyllis Erickson, 2 brothers (Alfred and Joseph Petta), and 2 Sisters (Gladys Morrison and Evelyn Worney).
Funeral Services for Dorothy Wickman will be held on Monday, April 6, at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Funeral Home Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
