Douglas Lee Keintz

Douglas L. Keintz, 67, of High Peak Road, Rhinelander passed away unexpectedly October 26, 2024 at his home.  Doug was born June 30, 1957 in Tomahawk to Doc and Lucille (Deering) Keintz. He attended Tomahawk Schools and following graduation he went to work for Exxon of America as a site manager in mineral exploration. He later worked for Noranda and following retirement he worked for A1 Septic. Doug enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Doug was an incredibly organized person and enjoyed his alone time.

Doug Keintz is survived by his brother, Steve (Marty) Keintz, Tomahawk; two nieces, Megan Keintz, Tomahawk; and Mackenzie (Ben) Keintz, of Omaha, NE.  He is further survived by his aunt, Jan Nelson, Tomahawk and many cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marshall Keintz.  

A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date.
