Douglas Paul Stewart

Douglas Paul Stewart, age 78 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on December 24, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. Douglas was born on April 1, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Dr. Graham Stewart and Lila Azhari. Doug attended Bay City Central High School and graduated from North Park College in Chicago, IL. He was owner and CEO of Molded Plastics Research of Illinois, Inc. located in Wheeling, IL. Doug married Karen Frank on October 18, 2003, she survives.
Doug was a member of the Masons, Shriners, and Minocqua Gun Club. He loved trap shooting, boating, fishing and collecting old cars, trucks, tractors and Lymon Boats.
He is survived by his wife, Karen and by daughters Carolyn Stewart and Laura Stewart and by son Douglas F. Stewart and by his two labrador retrievers Sadie and Samantha. Doug was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Graham Stewart and Lila Azhari and his brother Greg Stewart.
Burial of his cremated remains will be in Bay City, Michigan at Oak Ridge Cemetery and a Celebration of life will be held at a later date in Minocqua, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shriners Childrens Hospital, Vilas County Humane Society or Minocqua Gun Club.
