Dudley James Paulus

DUDLEY PAULUS
Dudley James Paulus, 72, Phillips, died in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls on Monday, May 25. He was born on January 27, 1943, in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Earl and Dorothy (Selinger) Paulus. He was a 1961 graduate of the Phillips High School, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He worked as a Journeyman Plumber for a number of years, and then was a 30 year employee of the Unites States Postal Service. He attended Saint Patrick Catholic Church and was a member of the John Patrick Slowey Knights of Columbus Council No. 2963. He served as a Councilman on the City of Phillips Common Council, and for 30 years served as a WIAA Basketball Official. Dudley was a AVID sports fan, and in his free time enjoyed travel and in latter years wintering in Sebring, Florida.
He is survived by two sons, Peter (Judy) Paulus, Phillips, and Donald (Natalie) Paulus, Phillips; by two grandchildren, Kara and Kyle; and by two half brothers, Richard (Mel) Kramer, Arizona, and James (Joanie) Kolokoski, Sussex, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents.
The Mass will be celebrated in Dudley’s memory at 7:30 A.M. at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 1, with Father Gerald Hagen officiating
