Dwaine "Pete" Porter

Dwaine “Pete” Porter, age 88, of 902 E. Somo Ave., Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Pete was born May 10, 1928 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. George Porter. He was married to Harriet “Gidget” Eternicka on February 6, 2000 in Las Vegas, NV. Pete was a salesman all of his life, starting with cookware and ending with real estate. He had lived in Wausau, Manson Lake, New Mexico, and Minnesota before moving back to Tomahawk in 2013. He enjoyed playing pool, golfing, and loved his pets. Survivors include: Wife, Gidget Children, Greg Porter Sugar Camp Tammy Derry Rockford, IL Rhonda Read California Pete is further survived by 10 Grandchildren (Brad, Chris, Zachary, Sydney, Adam, Paul, Mark, Jared, Shannon, and Jessica) and 9 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister. A Celebration of Pete’s life will be held on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m.
