Earl Froehlich, age 84, formerly of Tripoli, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
Earl was born November 11, 1926 in Milwaukee, the son of William and Ida (Peters) Froehlich. Earl lived most of his life in the Milwaukee area, and was employed with Carley Cartage as a truck driver. Following his retirement in 1983, Earl moved to Tripoli in 1985, where he lived until 2007, moving to Wind Lake to live with his nephew - Tom (Dianne) Jansen. While in Tripoli, Earl had been a member of the Volunteer Fire Department.

Earl is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and some great great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. He will also be missed by his neighbor and good friend, Jerry Trott of Tripoli. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 Sisters, and 2 Brothers.
Funeral Services for Earl Froehlich will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday the 31st from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Somo Cemetery in the Town of Somo. Memorials are appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation.
