Edward Bischke, age 93, 2692 W. Killarney Drive, Tomahawk, passed away August 6, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital ICU in Rhinelander.
Edward was born November 4, 1914 in L'Anse, Michigan, the son of William and Florence (Erdmann) Bischke. He was a Firefighter with the Milwaukee Fire Department for 28 years, retiring in 1971. He was a WWII Army Veteran, receiving 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. Edward was a member of the Garfield Masonic Lodge in Milwaukee and the Galilee Comandrie, a member of the Tripoli and Zor Temple Shrine, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Valley of Milwaukee Lodge, past Commander of Milwaukee Public Safety American Legion Post, lifetime member of the VFW, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a resident of the Tomahawk area for the past 3 years.

2 Sisters Ann (Alan) Lund Harshaw Lydia Satorius Milwaukee
Edward is further survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A Memorial Service for Edward Bischke will be held in Waukesha at a later date.
