Edward J. Boziel

Edward J. Boziel, age 95 of Arbor Vitae, WI passed away on Monday, August 5th at his residence with his family by his side. Edward was born on June 23, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Edward and Evelyn Boziel. Ed married Geraldine Mader on November 18, 1950, she survives.

 Ed worked for Milwaukee County Park system for 37 years. Ed was an active member of the Madsen-Empey American Legion Post 89 where he loved bartending and being a part of the honor guards. Ed enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards, playing horseshoes in the tavern leagues and snowmobiling with the Apple Dumpling gang. Loved the Northwoods and traveling to Door County and Florida.

 He is survived by his wife of 73 years; Geraldine and by his sons Mark (Alice) Boziel and Jeffrey (Pamala) Boziel and grandchildren Christopher (Liz) and Brett (Ally) and by great grandchildren Madeline (2 ½ years old) and Baby Boziel due mid-October and by grand dogs Dakota, Weller and Copper and by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas.

 Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family graveside services with military honors will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Woodruff, WI.
