Edward "Ed" A. Ewen

Edward “Ed” A. Ewen, age 68 of St. Germain, WI died on Thursday, December 6th at his residence. Ed was born on July 26, 1950 in Rice Lake, WI the son of John and Phyllis (nee Funk) Ewen. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, WI and attended UW-Stevens Point. Ed married Janelle M. Borke on April 13, 1977 in Stevens Point, WI. He was employed with Portage County Highway Department from May 1977 to July 2006 and after retirement moved to St. Germain and enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his wife Janelle of St. Germain, WI; his brother George Ewen of Stevens Point, WI; sisters-in-law Monica (D’Arcy) Keating of Desbarats, Ontario; Laurie (Dave) Moritzen of Merrill, WI; Kelly Borke of Minneapolis, MN; and Amy (Duane) Boris of Woodbury, MN; and nieces and nephews; Shaunda (Antonio) Hermenegildo and their children Karter and Ellena; Matt (Sara) Keating and their children Addison and Reed; and Riley Boris and MacKenzie Boris. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; John and Phyllis Ewen.

Memorial Gathering for Ed will be on Wednesday, December 12th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.
