Edward Perkins

Edward A. Perkins, age 83, 112 W. Lincoln Ave., Tomahawk, passed away July 19, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Ed was born January 14, 1927 in Tomahawk, the son of Austin and Clara (Hartwig) Perkins. He married Rose Mary Gill; she passed away in 1976. He was formerly employed with Owens-Illinois in Tomahawk. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family vacations. He was active with the Tomahawk Historical Society and Senior Singles in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Daughters Kathy (Jim) Gausmann Sparta Kim Perkins Wausau Lorrie (Al) Day Chaska, Minnesota Lisa (Mike) Skains Wausau Son Mark (Diane) Perkins Grand Rapids, Michigan Sister LaVerne Laatsch San Diego, California Sister-in-law Karla Perkins Chula Vista, California Ed is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers, and an infant daughter. A Memorial Service for Ed Perkins will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from Northland Bible Church in Tomahawk. A Veteran Tribute will take place before the service.
