Edward M. Richwalski, age 87, W6291 West Kraft Road, Tomahawk, passed away January 17, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Ed was born February 9, 1920 in Illinois. He married Suzanne Richards in 1986 in Jamaica. Ed was a resident of the Rhinelander area for most of his life, where he was employed with Moritz Tires for 32 years. He had been a resident of the Tomahawk area for the past 20 years. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army. While serving in WWII, he was a P.O.W. for 4 years. Ed was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Wife Susie Richwalski of Tomahawk 2 Daughters Ceil (George) Burnhart of Alpharetta, Georgia Linda Von Bushkirk of Plymouth, Minnesota 1 Son Derek (Martha) Richwalski of Yale, South Dakota 1 Step Son Bob (Ginger) Richards of Tomahawk 1 Step Daughther Susan (James) Vigneau of Florida Ed is further survived by 2 sisters, 4 grandchildren - Bryan, Stacy, Amy, and Andy, and 1 great granddaughter - Kaitlyn. Funeral Services with Military Rites for Ed Richwalski will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008 from United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Allen Poore-Christiensen will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
