Elaine K Dotter

Elaine K. Dotter, age 88, 0f N7750 State Hwy. 107, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk following a brief illness. Elaine was born on April 7, 1928 in Tomahawk to Carl and Elizabeth (Yoeckol) Dotter. She was first employed as a bookkeeper at Associated Co-op in Merrill. She later was employed at Owens-Illinois Tomahawk Mill for many years. Elaine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Tomahawk Historical Society, Grace Lutheran Church, and the Older Wiser Lutheran group at church. She enjoyed canoeing, gardening, hunting, fishing, skiing, and shooting blackbirds. Elaine is survived by one brother, Fredric “Fritz” Dotter of Tomahawk. She is further survived by eleven nieces and nephews, Diane Popp, Tomahawk; Duane Dotter, Tomahawk; Craig Dotter, Rhinelander; Kurt Dotter, Rhinelander; Grant Dotter, Merrill; Robert “Bob” Dotter, David Dotter, Jean Zoellner, Linda Dotter, Gary Dotter, all of Tomahawk, and Susan Martinson of Muskego, WI. There are also great, great great, and great great great nieces and nephews that are surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, John and Marvin Dotter. Funeral Services for Elaine K Dotter will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Pastor Mark Ziemer will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grace Lutheran Church Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Krueger Family is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials are appreciated to the Tomahawk Historical Society.
