Eleanor M. Lauder, 69, Half Moon Lake, Tomahawk, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff with husband Jack, son Jeff, and daughter-in-law Tammy at her side. Elly battled colon cancer for four months in the hospital. Elly was born January 7, 1939 to Edwin and Elsie Frusti in Little Traverse, Michigan. Elly graduated from Suomi College in Hancock, Michigan and in 1962 Elly married John W. Lauder in Lake Linden, Michigan. Elly and her husband Jack were self-employed for 40 years in the Village of Weston with Marathon Carbonic Co. and later years with 29 East Motors. Elly enjoyed her Half Moon Lake home which she called Elly's Place. Elly enjoyed getting up early and looking at her large flower garden and 120 tomato plants. Elly enjoyed giving her flowers and tomatoes to shut-ins and neighbors alike. Elly also enjoyed cooking and playing the piano. Survivors include: Husband Jack Lauder of Tomahawk Son Jeffrey (Tamara) Lauder of St. Germain Brothers Carl Frusti of Michigan Jim (Doreen) Frusti of Minnesota Norm (Marge) Frusti of Washington Glen (Linda) Frusti of Michigan Patrick (Lynda) Frusti of Michigan Sisters Elaine Teddy Eunice Dix both of Michigan Shirley (Bob) Koskiniemi of Indiana Elly is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services for Eleanor Lauder will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2008 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
