Elizabeth Kay McElfresh

Elizabeth Kay McElfresh, 76, a resident of The Villages, FL, and Presque Isle, WI, passed away July 20, 2024. She was born September 6, 1947, in Canton, IL, to parents Albert and Tula Walters. She received her master’s from Western Illinois University and she taught advanced math for Richwoods High School. She married the love of her life Virgil McElfresh on Marh 22, 1970. 

Elizabeth loved to golf, read, and play cards. She enjoyed going on cruises and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and summers in Northern Wisconsin.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Virgil; sons: Brian (Kory), Darin (Christine); grandchildren: Kevin, Sean, Ryker, Skylar; bonus grandchildren: Tyler, Drew, Sean; as well as many other family and friends.

No services are set currently. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to Wounded Warriors Project or The American Heart Association in Elizabeth’s Honor.
