Ellen R Hammersley

Ellen R. Hammersley, 60, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in San Diego, California.

Ellen was born May 2, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to Floyd and Maxine (Haring) Hammersley. She had been a summer resident of Tomahawk for many years and had graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1976. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and held a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management. Ellen enjoyed going to the beach and was an avid reader.  She was also a loving mother and sister.

            Ellen was preceded in death by her dad, Floyd Hammersley and her mom and step father, Maxine and John Haring, Sr.
