Ellen Kalk

Ellen Kalk, age 49, of 220 N. Tomahawk Ave, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday evening at the St. Clare Hospital in Weston, WI. She was born Oct. 1, 1957 in Rockford, Ill. to Lloyd and Arlene Sondell….and was married to Michael D. Kalk on April 25, 1992 in Johnsburg, Ill. Ellen had grown up in Illinois and spent many of her younger years in the Hayward, WI area. She had lived in Tomahawk for 12 years where she enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, boating and making friends. Survivors include: Husband Michael D. Kalk of Tomahawk Father Lloyd Sondell of Rockford, Ill 2 daughters Kristen Riley of Byron, Ill Katie (Brandon) White of Byron, Ill 1 brother Chad (Pam) Sondell of Rockford, Ill Ellen is further survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral services for Ellen Kalk will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday morning at the Krueger & Sons funeral home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:00 until the hour of services at 11:00. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
