Estell "Molly" Carstensen, 96, of W2997 Old D Road, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Golden Living-Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk.
Molly was born on December 29, 1917 in Tomahawk to the late William and Gladys (Bessey) Vaughan. She was married to Lawrence Carstensen on February 19, 1936 in Tomahawk, he passed away in 1993. In addition to raising 8 children, Estell also had worked at Bishops Egg Farm and Dyna Kleen. She enjoyed flower gardening and, most of all, being with her family.

Estell is further survived by 22 Grandchildren, 53 Great Grandchildren, 23 Great Great Grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Ruth Carstensen of Rhinelander. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a Grandson (Terry), 2 Great Grandchildren (Jeff and Abby), 3 Brothers, and 2 Sisters, and a son-in-law, Dave.
Funeral Services for Estell "Molly" Carstensen will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Tomahawk United Methodist Church. Pastor Debra Hastings will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 4 until 6 p.m. and at the church Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00
