Ethel "Gin" Buschmann, age 91, Tomahawk, passed away November 5, 2008 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk.
Ethel was born November 9, 1916 in Waukesha, the daughter of Edward and Ida Mae (Miller) Maher. She married William Buschmann on May 22, 1937 in Bessmer, Michigan; he passed away in 1997. "Gin" lived most of her life in Tomahawk, and formerly owned and operated a popcorn stand in downtown Tomahawk for many years. She enjoyed making jewelry, and was a member of the Mineral & Gem Club of Minocqua. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Tomahawk, formerly serving on the church board.

Gin is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - William, 1 brother - Eugene, and son-in-law - David Hess.
Funeral Services for Ethel "Gin" Buschmann will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Rev. John Miskimen will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Skanawan.
