Eugene Peter Esker

Eugene Peter Esker, age 75 of Minocqua, WI died on Friday, August 10th at his residence with his family by his side. Gene was born on June 9, 1943 in Wausau, WI the son of Stanley and Lillian (nee Bukowski) Esker. Gene graduated from DC Everest High School and served in the US Army Reserves. Gene married Susan M. Schreiber on October 26, 1968. He worked and retired from Wausau Paper Mill in Brokaw.

Gene loved spending time with his family enjoying his hobbies of hunting, fishing, motorcycling, camping and traveling.

He is survived by his wife; Sue and 3 sons; Cory, Chad and Jason (Sara) and by 2 grandchildren; Troy Esker and Logan Roberts. He is further survived by his siblings; Alice (Joe) Stepan of Glendale, AZ; Ronald (Bev) Esker of Ridgedale, MO and Diane (Dave) Carlson of Grayslake, IL and by other relatives and friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; Stanley and Lillian (nee Bukowski) Esker.

Upon his wishes cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
