Eugene Peter Janulis Sr.

Eugene “Gene” Peter Janulis, Sr., age 85 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Tuesday, December 4th at Avanti Health and Rehab in Minocqua, WI. Gene was born on April 3, 1933 in Chicago, IL the son of Peter and Mary (nee Uknaitis) Janulis. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps. He married Patricia Sienko on January 12, 1957. Gene worked for Peoples Gas and Light Company for many years. He was an active leader in Little League Baseball and the Cub Scouts and enjoyed collecting birds of prey figurines, beer steins and coins.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Patricia of Arbor Vitae, WI and by children; Eugene (Julianne) Janulis Jr. of Austin, TX; Michael A. Janulis of Justice, IL and Donna (Gerald) Sexton of Justice, IL and by grandchildren; Stephanie, Allison, Michael, Jonathan and Jessica and by his sister; Barbara Kardelis. He was preceded in death by his parents; Peter and Mary Janulis.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
