Flora Fay Piasecki

Flora F. Piasecki, age 84, of Phillips passed away on August 22, 2019, at the Lakeside Villa Assisted Living in Phillips while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born on October 16, 1934, in Berwyn, Illinois. She and her husband, Edward (Bud) Piasecki, were married in Westmont, Illinois, on July 12, 1952. They moved to Minocqua in 1970, where they owned and operated first Rainbow Resort and then Coachlite Resort on Lake Minocqua. Following Edward’s death in 1999, Flora continued to operate the Coachlite Resort until her retirement to Phillips in 2008. Flora was an avid water skier and in more recent years enjoyed walking, swimming at the Phillips Community Pool, and visiting with her friends at the Lakeside Villa. Flora is survived by her three children: Matthew (Beth) Piasecki, Minocqua, Alis (Doug) Fox, Phillips, and Guy (Sherry), Hobe Sound, Florida; seven grandchildren: Nathan and Brian (Jessica) Piasecki, Adam (Samantha) and Isaac Bosacki, and Matthias (Amanda), Alex, and Max Piasecki; three step-grandchildren: Emily (Joshua) Moore Feicht, Katie (Joshua) Moore Zimmer, and Elizabeth (Michael) Fox Baclig; and three great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
