Florence Kees

Florence Kees, age 86, a long-time resident of Tomahawk, passed away August 3, 2008 at Mount View Care Center in Wausau. Florence was born March 12, 1921 in Knowlton, the daughter of Martin and Anna (Knipfel) Dvorak. She married Clarence Kees on February 5, 1940 in Knowlton; he passed away in 1998. Florence enjoyed bowling, baking, crocheting, and loved her grandchildren and the Wilson kids. Survivors include: Daughter Judy Myre Tomahawk Brother Joseph (Sharon) Dvorak Knowlton Florence is further survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,1 son, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral Services for Florence Kees will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
