Florence P. Kenyon

Florence P. “Flo” Kenyon, 84, of W3539 County Road D, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Golden Living-Riverview under the care of Asera Care Hospice. Florence was born August 28, 1931 in Racine, Wisconsin to Romaine and Mary (Defattee) Gister. She married Neal Kenyon on June 11, 1997 in Merrill. He survives. Flo had lived much of her life in the Milwaukee area. She was employed at the YMCA in Milwaukee as the head printer for 15 years she retired in Tomahawk in 1985. Florence enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, stamping, and making greeting cards. She had been a member of the Tomahawk Red Hat Society. Survivors include: Husband, Neal Kenyon Children, Peter (Eva Marie) Schneider Phoenix, AZ Robert (Jennifer) Kenyon Kenosha James (Renee) Kenyon McHenry, IL Joseph Kenyon Lake Geneva, IL Florence is further survived by 6 grandchildren, Joseph Schneider, Jacob, Madison, Rachel, Nila, and Colton Kenyon. She is further survived by 2 nieces, Mary Gister of Racine and Paula Gister of Edgerton, WI. Flo was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister in law, Leonard and Bernice Gister. Funeral Services for Florence Kenyon will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Don Cannady will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
