Frances Lagerstedt

Frances M. Lagerstedt, 89, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Golden Living-Riverview Nursing Home in Tomahawk. Fran was born May 30, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Sylvia (Carpenter) Archambault. She married Evar Lagerstedt on October 18, 1948, also in Chicago, he passed away in 1992. She had lived in the Spirit area for a while before moving to Tomahawk in 1961. Fran had formerly worked at the Tomahawk Boat Factory and later was employed for 20 years at the Ben Franklin Store. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going to casino's. Most of all, Fran enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Frenette Ames Tomahawk Andrea (Bob) Reimert Tomahawk Sister, Theo Roberts Menasha 2 Brothers, Theodore Cortazzo Tennessee Donald Cortazzo Tomahawk Fran is further survived by 7 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Evar, Daughter, Sherry, Brother, John, and Sister LaVerne. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. and again on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of mass at 2:00 p.m.
