Frances Steele

Frances Overman Steele, age 87, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 in Prentice, Wisconsin. She was born on May 23, 1922 in Morris Illinois to John and Carrie (Williamson) Fosen. She married Robert Overman on April 14, 1944 in Joliet, Illinois, he passed away. She later married Al Steele in Plainfield, Wisconsin, he, too, preceded her in death. Frances was a stay at home mom and a farmer's wife until her two children grew up, she then worked as a clerk at Goldblatt's and Marshall Fields. Survivors include: One Daughter, Dee Overman Burke, Prentice, WI 3 Grandchildren, Beth Burke, Tomahawk, Ann Burke, Grand Blanc, MI, Robert (Sandy) Burke, Hudson, WI Frances is further survived by 2 Great Grandchildren, Lily and Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and a son, Kenneth Overman. A memorial service for Frances Overman Steele will be held in Plainfield, IL at a later date.
