FRANCINE ROHRIG
Francine Ann Rohrig, 72, Phillips, died on Sunday, June 2, 2019, in the Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born in Phillips on May 22, 1947, the daughter of William and Anne (Tom) Nachtrab Sr. She was a 1965 graduate of the Phillips High School, and attended the Wisconsin State University-Superior. She was married to Bernard Slowey in Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Phillips on September 2, 1967, and they later divorced. She was married to Lyle A. Rohrig in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, on January 12, 1985, and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2007. She was employed as a Licensed Agent at Scheel Insurance in Phillips, as an assistant at Lyle A. Rohrig Accounting in Phillips, and later by Community State Bank of Prentice. She was a member of Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church of Phillips where she was active in the Council of Catholic Women, a 50 year member of T.O.P.S., and was active in the Price County Women’s Health Alliance.
She is survived by five children, Ann (Jon Silvernail) Bolz, Jim Falls, WI, Dan (Christi) Slowey, Kimberly, WI, Kurt (Joyce) Rohrig, Grant, MN, Kristy Masciotra, Green Bay, and Ryan Rohrig, Marshfield; by her grandchildren, Kendra (Joel), Casey (Taylor), Brady, Jake, Jimmy, Kate, Kylie (Adam), Kerena, and Jaron; by 13 great grandchildren; by two brothers, William (Carol) Nachtrab Jr, Phillips, and Tom (Jackie) Nachtrab, Hales Corners, WI; by two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Slowey and Margaret Bant; and by her special friend, Elaine Doll. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; by one sister, Rosemary “Rosie”, and by her parents, William Nachtrab Sr, Anne Pesko, and Walter Pesko.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 7, at Saint Therese Catholic Church with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Friends may call at the church on Friday from @:00 P.M. until the time of services. Honorary pallbearers at the funeral services will be Casey Williams, Brady Bolz, Jake Slowey, Jimmy Slowey, Joel Goll, Ron Doll, Jaron Silvernail, and B.J. Nachtrab.
