Francis "Frank" Pintens, age 90, of W2244 County Road D, Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Golden Living Center -Riverview in Tomahawk. Frank was born on July 13, 1920 in Harrison to the late Leo and Marie (Schoone) Pintens. He married Anna Mae Zuiker on June 28, 1947 in Harrison. Frank had been a carpenter and farmer in the Tomahawk area for many years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison, and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He served on the Tomahawk School Board for 28 years. Frank was an avid Brewers and Packers fan, and loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He enjoyed hunting, walking in the woods, berry picking, and new babies. Survivors include: Wife, Anna Mae 7 Daughters, Mary (Larry) Ferg Appleton Patricia Pintens Harrison Lois (Larry) Copiskey Tomahawk Annette (Bill) Cook Hudson, WI Paula (Pat) Flynn Tomahawk Kaye (Dan) Connor Merrill Elaine (Eric) Grotbeck Plymouth, MN 6 Sons, Francis (Randon) Pintens Orono, MN Joseph (Andrea) Pintens West Bend, WI Norbert (Nancy) Pintens Rice Lake Peter (Ann) Pintens Tomahawk John (Cindy) Pintens Merrill Tony (Aimee) Pintens Barron, WI Brother, Leo (Louise) Pintens Harrison Sister, Johanna (George) Amelse Merrill Frank is further survived by 36 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Roberta Sue, Sister, Cornelia Shaver, and a grandson, Peter Jordan Pintens. A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Pintens will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Fr. Ronald Serrao will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk, with a Vigil Service to begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Harrison. A Memorial will be established in Frank's name.
