Frederick Bartz

Frederick "Fritz" Bartz, 78, of 9217 Hidden Waters Road, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Golden Living-Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk. Fritz was born on May 23, 1935 in Tomahawk to Irvin and Laura (Bishop) Bartz. He was a 1954 Graduate of Tomahawk High School. He enlisted and served 4 years in the US Coast Guard. He married Lois Baumgartner on January 7, 1956 in Tomahawk. They lived for many years in Milwaukee and later Slinger, Wisconsin. He was employed at Super Excavator and United Sewer and Water in the Milwaukee area. He was a 48 year member of Operating Engineer Local 139, he retired in 1995 and moved back to Tomahawk in 1999. Survivors include: Wife, Lois Daughters, Pam (Ross) Roeseler Hustisford, WI Terri Bartz also of Southeastern Wisconsin. Son, Fred Bartz Tomahawk Brothers, Walter "Bud" (Barb) Bartz Tomahawk Ron (Sharon) Bartz Pennsylvania Sister, Lynn (Ron) Zimmerman Tomahawk Fritz was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 Brothers, Irv and Roger Bartz. Funeral Services with Military rites for Fritz Bartz will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11.
