FRITZ ALFRED KLOESS

November 30, 1936 – October 27, 2024

Fritz Alfred Kloess, age 87, of Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin, passed away October 27, 2024.

He was the beloved husband of Grayce Kloess (nee Hoppe) 66 years of marriage; loving father of Sue Kloess Krueger (Terry), Fritz Kloess (Suzanne), Tom Kloess (Allison) and Barb Kloess Tonelli (Art); cherished grandfather of Casey (Tia), Jeremy and Megan Kloess, Justin and Corina Kane, Nick Kloess, and Lexi (John) and Dominic Tonelli; and dear great grandchildren Scarlett, Everleigh and Fritz Michael Kloess.

Words can’t capture the full life he led, but he was happiest with his family, surrounded by nature in the beautiful woods of northern Wisconsin. The trees, lakes, and changing seasons brought him peace, and one of his favorite birds, the robin, always reminded him of new beginnings.

In his final days, his thoughts were with those he loved most. Our Mom was, without a doubt, the love of his life. He found peace in knowing that she would be alright, that she would be loved and cared for.

Dad, thank you for the adventures, the wisdom, and the love you gave unconditionally. You’ll be forever missed but always with us—in every robin’s song, every quiet forest path, and every memory we hold close.
