Garry A. Keip, age 54, of Tomahawk passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at his home following a difficult 6 month battle with cancer.
Garry was born on March 5, 1956 to George and Grace (Cline) Keip in Wisconsin Rapids. He married Jean Swan on December 3, 1982 in Tomahawk. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1975 to 1979 and he had been employed at the PCA Tomahawk Mill for the past 29 years. Garry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his camp on the Willow Flowage, and leaning on his truck.

Wife, Jean Mother, Grace Keip Tomahawk 2 Daughters, Shelley Keip Oak Creek, WI Katie Keip Tomahawk Brother, Greg (Jean) Keip Wisconsin Rapids Sister, Sandy (Mike) Williams Wisconsin Rapids He is further survived by his Swan Family. Joseph and Loretta Swan. Gary (Carol) Swan, Jim (Terry Higgins) Swan, Mike (Nancy) Swan, all of Tomahawk, Rob (Lisa) Swan, Wausau, and Stacie (Steve) Cotey, Grafton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, including a special niece, Keri Jochim who had helped Garry through his cancer treatments, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services for Garry Keip will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. Friends may call at the Corpus Christi Center of St. Mary Church on Tuesday from 3 until 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services in the church. A Military Tribute Service will immediately precede the service at 11:00 a.m.
