Gary E. Cooper, 63, Delevan, Wi., died on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at his favorite Northern Wisconsin Retreat in the Town of Fifield. He was born on April 15, 1953, in Milwaukee, the son of Ralph and Caroline (Bucholz) Cooper.
He spent his early life and schooling in the Milwukee/West Allis area. He attended and graduated from West Allis Central High School, Class of 1971. He then attended Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville. Following his education he was the Co-Owner of G & J Standard in Janesville, was then employed at the DANA Corp., in Edgerton, Wi., and currently was the owner of Cooper Construction and Concrete, Richmond, Wi.,
In his free time he was an avid fisherman throughout the U.S. and Canada. He especially enjoyed Northern Wisconsin at his favorite lake and cabin in the Town of Fifield.
His family and friends enjoyed his outgoing personality.
He is survived by his brother: Dennis (Sandy) Cooper, Evansville, Wi., by his cousin Norma (Bruce) Brotz, Phillips, and by other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the 841 Brewhouse, 841 E. Milwaukee, St., Whitewater, Wisconsin, 53190.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips is in charge of the local arrangements.
