George Beilke

George H. "Jack" Beilke, age 68, of N11894 Deer Lake Road East, Tomahawk went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at his home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. Jack was born on July 19, 1943 in Wausau to George and Ruth (Schave) Beilke. He married Barbara Clawson on June 12, 1986 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. He had been employed with GTE for 30 years, starting in Wausau and later in Madison and Sun Prairie before returning to Wausau. He had been a longtime member of the Wausau Jaycee's, a former member of the Wausau and Madison Curling Club, and he had served as a field director for the Miss Wisconsin Pageant. Jack and Barb have been members of Grace Lutheran Church and residents of the Tomahawk area since 1986. Survivors include: Wife, Barbara Daughter, Debbie (Steve) Andress of California Step Son, David (Kay) Barrix of Alabama Sister, Mary (Robert) Zahn Pewaukee, WI Brother, Steve (Mary) Beilke North Oaks, MN Jack is further survived by 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step son, Curt Barrix, 2 Sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law. Funeral Services for George "Jack" Beilke will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau on Wednesday morning. The family will receive friends at the Church Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials are appreciated to the Tomahawk Salvation Army.
