George Radtke

George H. Radtke, age 89, of 6163 Meadow Lane, Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home under the care of Dr. Kate Hospice. George was born on September 4, 1923 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Bernard and Gertrude (Wagner) Radtke. He served his country from 1942 to 1945 in the United States Army. He was married to Louann Anderson on May 17, 1964 in Montello, Wisconsin. He had been a carpenter in the Hazelhurst area for many years. George was an avid hunter, gardener, and fisherman. Survivors include: Wife, Louann Son, Fred (Marie) Radtke Oconomowoc, WI Sister, Betty Koch Oconomowoc, WI 4 Grandchildren, Jamie and Bryan Costa, Andrea (Steve) Scullion, and Jonathan Pendleton. He is further survived by 4 Great Grandchildren, Natalie, Brooklyn, Conner, and Aiden. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 2 sisters. Private family services for George Radtke will be held at a later date. Memorials are appreciated to Dr. Kate Hospice. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
