Gerald "Jerry" J. Eastman

Gerald James “Jerry” Eastman, age 80 of Lake Tomahawk, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24th at his residence. Jerry was born on December 6, 1937 in Coloma, WI the son of Garnet and Victoria (nee Schleiter) Eastman. He graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and served in the US Navy.
Jerry married Sandra Beyer on October 19, 1963 and she survives. He was Sergeant with the Madison Police Department (Ret.) and farmed in Arena, WI and in the Northwood’s he started a Landscaping and Bobcat Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 318 in Lake Tomahawk, WI and in his spare time loved fishing, hunting and reading.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years; Sandra and by his Son; Gerald J. (Alice) Eastman Jr., and Daughter; Denise (Sam) Wenz and by his Grandchildren: Gunnar Wenz, Graham Wenz, Gage Wenz, Gavin Wenz and Nicole Eastman and Ryan Eastman. He is further survived by Barbara Semro, Joyce Barthles and Karen Eastman and by many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his Parents; Garnet and Victoria Eastman and by his Brother, Kenneth Eastman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI and also on Saturday, February 3rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Services starting at 1:00 PM with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Jerry may be made to the Camp American Legion, 8529 County Road D, Lake Tomahawk, WI 54539.
