Gertrude Burke

Trudy M. Burke, age 70, of 310 W. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Trudy was born on February 1, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Howard and Mae Kasper. She was formerly married to Howard Burke. She moved to Tomahawk in 1973 and owned and operated the Tomahawk Lodge Resort until 1978. Trudy enjoyed NASCAR, crafting, and was a big Cubs fan. Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Patti (Larry) Hilgendorf Tomahawk Mary (Mark) Herman Tomahawk Jennie (Ed) Malis Irma Son, Mike (Christy) Burke Maple Grove, MN 2 Sisters, Sally (Bob) Flores Lake Geneva, WI Sue Chipchase Port Ritchie, Fl Brother, Tim Kasper Anchorage, AK Trudy is further survived by 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services for Trudy Burke will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 12:00 noon from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Rebecca Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at noon.
