Gertrude Favors

Gertrude E. Favors, age 79, of W8694 County Road O, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Waupaca. Gert was born November 14, 1930 in Tomahawk to the late Frank and Emma Sutherland. She married Charles Favors in Merrill, he passed away in 1992. Gert lived all of her life in Tomahawk, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Carol O'Connor Chicago, IL Charlene (Steve) Daye Westfield, WI 2 Sons, Charles (Fay) Favors Greenfield, WI Carl (Lynn) Favors Tomahawk Gert is further survived by 6 grandchildren, Rachel & Craig Daye, Brandi & Patrick O'Connor, and Joseph & Joshua Favors. She also leaves behind her 3 good friends, Statia Isaacson, Elise and Darlene Marheine. A memorial service for Gert Favors will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11.
