Grace Hess

Grace Hess, age 89, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Tomahawk. Grace was born March 14, 1920 in the Town of Bradley, the daughter of Louis and Evelyn (Bessie) Johnston. She was formerly married to Val 'Buck' Hess, Jr.; he died in 1994. Grace was formerly employed with the House Cleaning Department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk, and was also formerly employed as a Sewer at Nick & Sons Casket Company in Tomahawk. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, flowers, reading, knitting, and crossword puzzles. Survivors include: Children Patricia Felser Evelyn Bushor both of Tomahawk Barbara (Eugene) Myers Genesee Depot Wayne (Lisa) Hess Tomahawk Brother Kenneth (Lil) Johnston Fort Atkinson Grace is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 infant children, and 1 grandchild. Funeral Services for Grace Hess will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010 from Krueger Family Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
