Harlow H. Hustedt

Born September 14, 1946 – July 17, 2024

Harlow Hustedt, age 77, passed away in Tomahawk, WI at the Riverview Health SNS, surrounded by family and friends on July 17, 2024.

Harlow was born in Marshfield, WI, to Omar and Marie (Weigel) Hustedt. Graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1965. Continued his education at UW Stout, served in the Army based in Fort Hood, TX, and in Vietnam. He then continued his education at NTC in Wausau, graduating with a degree as a automotive mechanic. He worked at various companies in the Wausau area.

Harlow is survived by his children, Harry (Jacque) and Mercedes (Patrick) Partyka. Grandchildren Nate, Noah, and Melanie. His siblings, Doug (Pam) Hustedt, Mary (Steve) Sleeter, and Keith Hustedt (Sondrea Radtke), several nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews. Stepchildren Vickie, Patsy, David and Susanne Neuman, and step grandchildren.

Harlow was preceded in death by parents Omar and Marie Hustedt, grandparents, sister Kay Hustedt, niece Melissa Khlap, former wife Phyllis Hustedt, second wife Jackie Hustedt, aunts, and uncles.

The family would like to thank his close friends Carl and Marge Westrich who were his extended family. Visits from Father Aloysius. Thank you to the care givers at Riverview Health, SNS, for their care and compassion given to Harlow while residing in Tomahawk. Also, thank you to Father Martin of Holy Name of Jesus.

A funeral Mass for Harlow will be held at Holy Name of Jesus, 1104 S. 4th Ave, Wausau, August 1st at 11:00am. Visitation will be at 10:00am.

Burial will be for the family privately at a later date.
