Hazel E. Wickman, age 93, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 at Golden Living-Golden Age Nursing Center in Tomahawk.
Hazel was born on April 7, 1916 in Brantwood, Wisconsin to William and Hannah (Maki) Lampii. Hazel was first married to William Hautala and later she married Herman Wickman, he passed away in 1962. Hazel was born and raised in the Brantwood area, she lived in Minnesota for a time and has lived in Tomahawk since 1962. She had worked at Nelsons's Grocery Store for over 17 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, knitting, crocheting, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She had been a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.

Hazel is further survived by 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and many nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, a sister, and a niece.
The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
