Hedwig Siewert

Hedwig 'Heidi' Siewert, age 94, Tomahawk , passed away January 10, 2010 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Heidi was born November 03, 1915 in Germany, the daughter of Joseph and Margarita Mueller. She married Ernest Kusemann in 1939 in Germany; he passed away in 1944. Heidi came to the United States in 1959. She settled in the Wausau area, and was formerly employed with Wausau Hospital until her retirement in 1965. Heidi had been a Tomahawk resident since March 2006. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing bingo, gambling, and daily visits with her grand-dog - Ruby. Survivors include: 2 daughters Ursula (Jim) Zillman Tomahawk Marga (Garry) Stauffer Lincoln, Nebraska 1 granddaughter Roxanne (James) Richter Lincoln, Nebraska 1 grandson Robbie (Jill) Janikowski Hatley Heidi is further survived by 2 great grandchildren - Marcus and Lucy Richter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Ernest, and 7 brothers and sisters. A Private Celebration of Life for Heidi will be held at a later date.
