Helen Krueger

Helen R. Krueger, age 94, 8 S. 7th St. Apt. 1, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Helen was born March 12, 1914 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Tully) McCarthy. She married John Krueger 1934; he passed away in 1975. Helen lived in Milwaukee for many years, then moved to Lac du Flambeau, and finally back to Tomahawk in her later years. Helen loved to polka and play bingo. Survivors include: 1 son John Krueger Pinellas Park, Florida 1 sister Annabelle Johnson Melborne Beach, Florida Helen is further survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 Daughters, Barbara and Helen, 3 Sisters, Mary Robarge, Peg Beutner, Kay McCarthy and a brother, Tuffy McCarthy. A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen Krueger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
