Helen M. Billstine, 84, Golden Living Center, Tomahawk, longtime Prentice resident, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the Golden Living Center,
Tomahawk.
She was born on November 17, 1932, in Ogema, the daughter of Sven and Anna (Pearson) Sander.
She attended the Rings Grade School, the Norlin Grade School, Prentice High School, and graduated from the Rib Lake High School.
She was married to Robert “Bob” Billstine in September of 1956. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2013.
She was employed with her husband Bob as the owner of the Prentice Café for many years prior to their retirement.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Prentice.
In her free time she enjoyed gardening, knitting, and baking.
She is survived by her chidren: James (Barbara) Billstine, Tillamook, Oregon, Deborah (John) Tinkham, Granite Falls, Wash., and Laura Wilhelm, Park Falls, Wi., by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters: mary Ostling, Phillips, and Nancy Longseth, Prentice..
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Robert, by 1 infant brother Carl, and by 1 sister Clara Pohle.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The Heindl Funeral Home, is in charge of the arrangements.
