Helen Meyers, age 78, 1916 Pfeifer Road, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 At Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk.
Helen was born June 14, 1931 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Emil and Marie (Musch) Weizenicker. She married Richard Meyers on February 18, 1950. Helen was a life-long resident of Tomahawk. She was formerly employed with Electro-Mel in Hazelhurst and was a business partner for Meyers Marine in Tomahawk from 1975 until her retirement in 1998. Helen enjoyed cooking, was an avid boater, loved to travel, and had been to Australia, Alaska, Mardi Gras, and also traveled extensively in an RV. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk.

2 daughters Adele (Richard) Christensen of Dodgeville, WI, and Joan (Bruce) Myers of Lyons, Colorado
1 son Leonard 'Len' (Catherine) Meyers of Tomahawk
1 brother Leonard (Caroline) Weizenicker of Tomahawk
Helen is further survived by 5 grandchildren - Austin, Graham, Jeremy, Karen, and Derek, and 2 great grandchildren - Taylor and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
A Funeral Service for Helen Meyers will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Deacon Darrell Smerz will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 28th at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
